Surprised they came away with "onside" and not just "it stands"

They're looking for one and they found one...
The idea behind that rule is hitting the stick away from a player trying to retrieve his stick, and that's not what was happening there...

Yeah, but Alex Nylander is proof that Mike Sullivan hates amazing young talents...with his 0+0=0 -7 in his last five games playing big minutes, including a career-high 23:16 (!) against Pittsburgh on Saturday...

The Sullivan hating young players is stupid for sure. But that doesn’t prevent me from disagreeing with playing Jeff Carter every night down the stretch

Yeah that's fine...I'll be honest, no one jumps to mind as to who would play over him...and scratching him means we lose our only RHS center, putting us at a huge disadvantage in the faceoff dot...
GDT #74: Pens @ Rangers
well, if he doesn't hate young players, where is Poulin?

I just see it as more that the season is over. Carter is done after this year. Just throw Gruden and/or Poulin out there to see if there’s something there. Carter hasn’t been a problem this year but frankly this year is over and we don’t need to play him in both back to back games
