Set the record for largest dead cap hit

Did Jason Kelce even exist prior to February 2023? ESPN and others are tripping over themselves like it's a national day of mourning that he's retiring. It's really over the top.

Nope. Prior to Eagles/Chiefs SB where, by coincidence he played in a game with someone who happened to occupy the same uterus as him, he had no reputation at all. Virtually unknown.

In the Philly/So. Jersey area, he was/is a god.
His post 2018 Super Bowl speech lives on in legend.

I'm shocked that a center wasn't a household name until playing in a Super Bowl against his brother. As far as reputation, he's a six time All Pro who is likely headed to the Hall of Fame.Did Jason Kelce even exist prior to February 2023? Broncos released Justin Simmons. Didn’t expect that but makes sense I guess
he had 4 second team all pros on a really bad team

For some reason, I thought the Browns had a stud WR corp. it’s just Amari Cooper. Not sure why I thought they were stacked at that position.

The commentators I listen to have been saying that this draft is shallow. So those late round picks aren’t worth much, of course Cleveland doesn’t have a 1st round pick, so still stupid of them to trade a 5 and 6 for jeudy

I was worried that Jeudy would go to a team and turn his career around but it warms my heart knowing he won’t do it because he’s going to Cleveland. I’m kind of glad we got anything for him

Speaking of Cincy WRs, Tyler Boyd is a FA. I'd love to see the Steelers sign him.

He would be the best slot receiver we've had in a long time.

Mac Jones heading to Jacksonville to be T-Law’s backup.

Was watching a thing about this earlier and it made me think about your post. The highest cumulative dead cap hit; the highest single season dead cap hit; the 4th highest single season dead cap hit, all coming from a contract extension he will never actually play a single snap under. And the final year of his SEA deal that got him traded to DEN in the first place is like the 6th or 7th highest single season hit.Set the record for largest dead cap hit
NFL
I'm sure he's just misunderstood and that's not a reflection on his current readiness or ability.
And if nothing else the Steelers are great at coaching up problem QBs. Like Haskins, or Vick. Steeler success stories abound.
