Stumbled upon a bit of an unethical hack with Amazon. My daughter wanted multi-color PLA for something she wants to print, so I added it to my cart. Gotta spend $5 more to get same day shipping, so I find some night lights (that I was actually looking for anyway) and add them. Nice, should be here tonight. Then I take a closer look, and the night lights need to be plugged into the top outlet, whereas I need them in the bottom (co2 detector is in the top). So I quickly cancel that item, leaving just the PLA... which is still being delivered today.

That is one of my favorite games we have. I also highly recommend QB54... Could play it for hours. It is definitely on the expensive side thoughThat place just looks like fun. Kan Jam is a hell of a lot of fun.

Kanjam is fun. I personally can’t stand cornhole. It’s pretty boring and it’s pretty much the only game southerners play
I know they’re rarer but my personal favorites for lawn games are bocce ball and croquet. To me the difference between them and cornhole is similar to the difference between golf and bowling. Bowling is literally the same setup every time you play; no variation between games really other than how you throw the ball. Golf however has different course set ups and there’s a lot of diversity on how one plays

Finished cleaning out our basement today, and I’m **** spent. Went through every single box, container, etc. and made piles for trash and donation. The thought of dumping this myself is out the window, so I’ll be contacting a junk removal service next week.
Also, pro tip: don’t lose your grip on a box of floor tiles that weighs easily 50 lbs. My ring finger turned black and blue almost immediately.

Kubb is best, for sure. But I’ll play whatever.

Ladders is garbage. I'd rather play corn hole with my own ball bag than play ladders again...

Aren't those essentially the same game? I mean, horseshoes are definitely more, I don't know, manly?, but basically the same concept of a game.Cornhole is such a bore.

I came pretty close to blowing out my achilles playing kan jam a few years ago. Alcohol may or may not have contributed.
Haven't tried Kubb yet, but a couple friends have sets now. It sounds and looks pretty fun, so looking forward to trying that this spring when peeps start up the driveway parties.

My dad’s cousin still has his set of real metal lawn darts. That will always be the top lawn game for me, without question.

We had a set at my grandparents' place, and we always played them at family picnics. No one died or lost an eye either.

You’re right (throwing an object at a target with minimal impact on being able to affect the other team’s positions) but I’d rank horseshoes slightly higher because throwing a horseshoe is more fun. Both heavier and how it’s asymmetric in one dimensionAren't those essentially the same game? I mean, horseshoes are definitely more, I don't know, manly?, but basically the same concept of a game.Cornhole is such a bore.

and I learned about tejo, a Colombian game where people throw stones into a sand filled board trying to hit targets that are filled with gunpowder and explode on impact. Cornhole now looks like a game for pussies compared to it

I like pretty much all of them and have most of them. Kan jam is probably my least favorite, but still fun. Kubb is probably my favorite, and good for the beach.

Did everyone's grandparents have a set? That's where we would always play, and it has remained a fixture at family reunions ever since. My cousin still has the original set.

Anyone ever sell a large collection of DVDs? I know I can do it on eBay, but the thought of putting them all up there and dealing with single transactions and trips to the post office completely turns me off. I have two large boxes just filled with them that I'd like to unload.
