Honestly I hope every team in the league starts pimping empty netters on the Leafs.
Slappers. Between the legs. Lacrosse style. Skating it as slow as you can into the net. Skating fast but accidentally on purpose lose a handle in front of the crease and have it slide in unguided. Michigan it from behind the net.
The possibilities are endless
Weird, no one headshotted the guy afterward...

He legit needed a bodyguard to go with him back to the bench because even the pathetic expansion Senators didn't appreciate that haha
I think the outcome is probably different it wasn't 90 year old Calle Johansson too...
Which isn't to justify Rielly's actual actions...but this has the reverse effect that I think you're intending...

It's more just no one really freaked out about it to the level of discourse currently surrounding Grieg's shot.
I'm sure having Esa Tikkanen there helped, no doubt.

That also ended their season I think - in a series that wasn't close...so, you're probably pretty glum.
Maybe we can fire up an old NHL2Night and see if Melrose **** out a platypus about it haha

That area seems to be a puck magnet for league leaders from Cole Harbor...

i'm having trouble adjusting to jack edwards' half a bottle of xanax game call these days
I'm actually a little concerned for his health at this point...it's been like this for like a year...I hope he's all right...
I found this on reddit:

Walter White's son, out of a dead sleep, could have called that at least 10x better than that...

Matt Rempe gets in a fight a minute and a half into his first NHL game. Big kid.

Rangers taking the afternoon off. Not a good OOT scoreboard day for the Pens.
Edit: NYR back to within 1, but there’s only 2 minutes and change left in reg.

Just saw! Impressive. Nice to get a little help, since every point matters.

Interesting interpretation by the officials for the length of time 'continuous action' was after the goal got knocked off the moorings by the Islanders player.

Any of you that bet the Canucks today and felt like a 5-3 lead thru 2 periods put you in good shape, well, the Wild put a *7* spot on the board in the 3rd to win 10-7.

Lots of day games today. Do enough people have off on Presidents' Day to justify it?
Mrs. F and I both worked and my kid was in school.

Doing it with 3+3 each is a lot cooler though.

Had given up just 1 goal in 2 previous games this season against the Wild.
