It’s National Beer Day in case you needed another reason to partake.

Found a Great Lakes Christmas Ale stashed in the cupboard. Might be time to consume that what with it being Easter now and all.

IC'd Tea delivers on what is says it is. Tastes like Iron City and Tea. Light and refreshing, could probably knock back a 12 pack at a July BBQ.
I was talking to the beer distributor and they said Galliker's is releasing a hard cider closer to summer.

Hell yeah. I have a twelve pack waiting for me. Excited to try it. One of those things that sounds so bad, I think it has to actually be good to produce and sell it

Yup, I expected it to be swill but it is exactly what it should taste like. We're taking a case to the OBX to enjoy with the rest of the yinzers.

Is Iron City good? All I've ever seen is people roasting it as crap.

I like IC Light as a "I'm going to day drink" beer

That actually sounds better than I expected. Seemed like it would taste like pabst.

Iron City is nowhere near the worst generic American adjunct lager that I've had.

Our local trash is Rainier, which nobody likes unless they're trying way too hard to be "PNW".

Yep, way better than it should be. I will admit I couldn't get through 3 though.

It's disgusting and exists in defiance of god's will.

All this gimmick Iced Tea Beer, Lemonade Beer, etc. is just disgusting. I think most of the time people convince themselves it's good, rather than it actually being good.

It beats chewing hops out of yet another IPA bottle.

Oh agree, I feel the same about IPAs and craft beer. I think some people convince themselves that stuff is good to, to elevate their "snobbness."
I did the same with music back in the day, and I cringe thinking about it.

I don't even see saisons anymore, but I'd gladly pay that for a good one

I stopped at Source Brewing when I was in Philly a few weeks ago. It was awesome. 4 or 5 different lagers on draft, some sours, 2 or 3 saisons, and of course a few IPAs, but still.... refreshing to see the variety.
