Not yet. Star Wars Celebration is coming soon, and that's when the tend to announce things like that. Or on May 4th.
But what a hell of a cliffhanger to leave us on if it's not renewed.
We (my teenaged sons) have been watching animated Star Wars together since they were toddlers, way back with the original Clone Wars movie and show. I think we still have a few seasons on DVD somewhere too. But they really haven't liked Bad Batch overall, mostly because of Omeeega being annoying. They really liked these two episodes though.

It bugs me that she has an Australian accent especially since no one else in the Star Wars universe has one that I can recall. Accents aren't an inherited trait, and as far as we know she was raised by Nala Se who doesn't have that accent. It makes no sense.
Star Wars discussion (SPOILERS INCLUDED)
Yeah, her accent is annoying. And she is just a whiny dodint.

New Zealandian, I believe. New Zealandish?

Her helmet looks stupid. But I like her accent.

Yeah, the actor is from New Zealand. I assumed she was doing an exaggerated New Zealand accent, but nope, in various interviews over the years that is basically her normal speaking voice.

I also dig the accent.

This season has been good. Really enjoyed the scientist episode. This one, woof. Shoehorned in some big names for a nothingburger story. I guess the idea was to continue post empire world building but it didn’t work here IMO.That episode was a train wreck.

I wasn't expecting much from this episode, but it was better than I expected. Good lore building, and similar to the animated series where they have a throwaway quest episode...the problem is that the animated shows run 16-20+ episodes and need a throwaway or three. Not needed, imo, in an 8 episode season. Always like seeing Battle Droids, too.

Set 15 years after ROS. In a trilogy of meh, Ridley was a bright spot. I’m in, assuming it actually happens.

I'm intrigued. I loved Daisy Ridley and Rey. Getting the stink off from ROS isn't going to be easy. I was hoping for something that deviates from Skywalker's and Jedi's but maybe that's better reserved for TV shows than movies, at least for now.
