What happens to Potash when AT&T goes away? I can only dream that he will go away with them, but I am sure that wont happen.

I think AT&T goes away in name only. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Penguins run it themselves. What happens to Potash when AT&T goes away? I can only dream that he will go away with them, but I am sure that wont happen.

From another article I read, Warner/Discovery has given both the Pens and Pirates until 3/31 to decide what they are doing, but at that point, AT&T SN will no longer be in operation.
This is for another thread, but I wonder if these developments change the way that Nutting does business. Currently he's getting 60 Mil for the rights to the Pirates games annually from AT&T. Take that out of the equation, does his business plan of low cost, decent profitability still work? I wonder if this causes him to either 1) actually compete with a roster that sells tickets or 2) sells to a new owner?

I think it's going to have him run his own channel with the Pens - and attain money almost directly by making it a subscription model. Putting maybe even more money in his pocket while doing less.

Interesting though that FSG does in fact currently own its own RSG in the form of NESN in the Boston area. They are probably well positioned to create a Pens channel.

RSNs going away is a good thing but the transition might be rocky.

I wouldn’t really consider Jake a sniper. Honestly I feel like our last pure shooter like that was NealThey lack snipage. The team's snipers simply aren't sufficiently snipey this season. Jake has only 5 PP goals. Start sniping, man.

Does “pure shooter” mean that’s their only viable skill?

Zucker should be at least tried on the 1st PP instead of either Jake or Rackell.
