Nah. That's the one in Altoona. That dude is dead to me.

I don't understand the car world right now.
My wife fell in love with a Civic Type R when we were Indy. I told her she could settle for a Si (and it'd be an even swap for her 4 year old CX-9), and have half heartedly been looking at them. Well one arrived on a lot in KS, and the dealer's "total transparent price" on the website is $29k. Then there's a dealer downtown with the same car, but with 500 miles on it, selling it as used for $43k. Like wtf are we really doing?

Yup... only reason I'm looking new rather than used.

I am more skeptical of the $29K than anything.I don't understand the car world right now.

"Inventory adjustment fee" incoming.

We'll see. The civic forum has a handful of people that bought at roughly MSRP this summer, but I agree that I'm more skeptical that you can actually get it out the door for that.

Are they paving children in the road in the UK now?

I still don't understand how regulating authorities are okay with Tesla (or anyone) building cars with display no vehicle/situational awareness information even remotely forward of the driver's eye line. The company acquired a car HUD company shortly before the Model 3 started manufacturing, but it doesn't have a display. Not sure how effective that massive display is in real life, but I have no desire to own a car that obligates me to look down and away to access basic information like, you know, speed, charge state, etc.

I like my Wrangler. Can't say there's any pride involved. I wave, but it's a regular wave, not a thumb and pinkie and I've never, in 9 years of owning my Wrangler and passing other Wranglers on a near daily basis, seen anyone "wave" like that.
