Heh, they are listening to the soundtrack in the background. Nice.

So uh, Phil is still out there. And it seems like he's not gonna get much money at all at this point. I was a hard no a few weeks ago. But if we end up moving someone and have a little space. Phil at a million or so, I mean..

Phil is one of the ex pens I wouldn't want back. I like the guy but he seems finished.

It crossed my mind tbh.

Would benefit the powerplay if anything else. Nothing against Rust but he's not much of a trigger man like Kessel was from that side.

Love Phil, hard no to bringing him back. Him and Sully don’t mix and it poisons others on the team.

I wouldn't mind if he was dragging around here for cheap...provides some wheels, especially over the top speed, which fits with Sully's speed differential stuff...
I wonder if he's an every day player or not...

No thanks on Phil. He looks done.

52 in 82 last year on the Yotes. career low 4.6% shooting percentage - I'd expect regression to the mean there. I don't think he's done. plus if he's cheap, we just cut bait in a couple months and go on with our lives

Easy to assume someone is done when they're playing for the poverty organization that is the Arizona Coyotes

Does he even have that speed anymore? Last I heard his step vanished.

I mean for league minimum or little money... I guess. I'm just not big on bringing back retreads at the twilight of their career. He was awesome here for the most part his first time around, the chances of him even being half of that the 2nd time around is slim to none IMO.

Should Adams have given up 27 to Kovalev?
I say no.
I say no.

I would like to bring Kessel back if all of these things are mostly fulfilled/satsified
1 - He takes close to league minimum
2 - He still has a high top speed
3 - He is aware that he can be a healthy scratch once in a while
These three things would make him as useful as a Heinen, I belive.
