You're gonna have to hurry and beat this arbitration hearing...I don't exactly know the rules with club-elected salary arb off hand because it's so rare...but there might be limitations on what can be done and what can be done before Jan 1...

Let's play a dog days of summer game...normal caveats about not cheating, as this information is easy to google...challenge yourself, don't be a nimby...
Last Penguins to wear a number:
#15:
2017-2019, 122 GP: ________________
2012-2014, 115 GP: ________________
2008-2014, 100 GP: ________________
2008-2009, 22 GP: _________________ (faceoff guru)
2005-2006, 15 GP, 0 pts: ____________ (famously invisible)
#24:
2019-2020, 50 GP: _______________ (curiously out of the league)
2016-2017, 12 GP: _______________ (37 career GP and not someone we developed...good luck)
2014-2016, 14 GP: _______________ (29 PIMs, 0 pts)
Then Matt Cooke, Kris Beech v2.0, Cornelius, and pinnacle 90's Massachusetts man Ian Moran.
#25:
2015-2017, 17 GP: _______________ (led the league in PIMs before we got him)
2013-2015, 33 GP: _______________ (generic quad-A player)
2009-2013, 45 GP: _______________ (famously, never got to eat...)
#26:
Good god...the only players that played more than one season in this jersey are Fedotenko (2 years) and Kent Manderville (1 season, + 4 games of another). Other than that: Michael Chaput, Andrew Agozzino, Daniel Winnik, Mark Arcobello, Steve Sullivan, Eric Tangradi again, Ronald Petrovicky, Landon Wilson, Frantisek Kucera, Kasparaitis (? he wore 26 in '97? I don't recall this), Dave McLlwain, Richard Park...finally Mike Stapleton played two seasons in that number in 1993-94. It's not a popular number since Syl Apps wore it for like 8 years in the 70's...
#44:
2018-2020, 26 GP: _________________ (It felt like way more games than that...somehow got another $16 million to play)
2014-2015, 7 GP: __________________ (Uhh...I thought he was gonna be better when he played at North Dakota...another player that Washington propped up after we were done.)
--
Effective way to guess:
#25-1: Maxime Talbot
#44-2: Oskar Sundqvist
That would be the most recent slot on 25; the bottom/second slot in 44.

Kasparaitis only wore it for a game or two before they gave him 11. I have an autographed picture of him with a 26 jersey.

I didn't 'like' him but I bought an Andrew Ebbett practice jersey because it was number 25. I ran the Lemieux 6.6k wearing it one year. When I first came to hockey in the early '90s Kevin Stevens was my favorite player.

Damnit I should have had Farnham and Ebbett. Probably Sestito too. I never in a billion years would have gotten Nordgren... I kept running through those guys and the only names I could come up with were Kolanos and Guillaume Lefebvre.
Interesting note on Levebvre:
29 GP from 01-03 with flyers and pens
---2 years 0gp---
9 GP in 05-06 with the pens
---3 years 0gp---
1GP in 09-10 (!!!) With the bruins
