They canceled the child molester episode. Apparently the actor playing the child molester turned out to be a child molester? Very loose ********

Watching the end of that Stranger Things season was so weird because for some reason I thought this season was the end of the show.
With 20 minutes left, I was thinking "wow, lots of loose ends to tie up here in 20 minutes". Five minutes later, double checked to see if there was another episode after 9. Then at the end, googled stranger things season 5, and all was resolved.

Why is Will still rocking the bowl cut? He'll never find a boyfriend looking like this.

The
Overall a very very strong season. I was not really pumped going into it because of the long layoff, but it was really really good.

Nobody cares about this but me, but NBC rescued Magnum PI, and ordered 2 seasons with an option for a 3rd.

Wow, that's pretty rare to have a network pick up another network show. Helps that it's a Universal TV studios production, which is also owned by NBC.

The Eddie scene in all it's glory... @NTP66 I know you will enjoy this even if you don't watch the show.
*spoilers obviously if you haven't watched any of season 4 of Stranger Things*

I saw the headlines, so I have an idea of what you're trying to show me. We haven't started S04 yet, though. Soon.

Just started season 4 yesterday. Got through the first two episodes. Looking forward to finishing the season hopefully this week.

Hacks is good, my wife and I are enjoying it. I've always liked Jean Smart and she nails this role.We recently started Hacks, I can't get over how funny Jean Smart is on this show.Hacks season 2 was very good. Only 8 episodes though, and no word on a renewal. It's weird because it's not produced by HBO, and I don't think I've seen too many shows with other production houses' credits before the HBO Max logo comes on. Anyway, it's good.

Finished up Stranger Things 4. After such a good first season and then slowly going downhill, I'd say they redeemed themselves here. The guitar/metal scene posted above was awesome.

Not a fan of the super long episodes, but that's my only gripe.

Yup. We were going to start it last night and saw the first episode was 1h14m. *Skip*

Yeah... we found natural stopping points in most of them and broke episodes up into multiple nights. The episodes were way too freaking long and they had the opportunity to split them very easily. It's not like they have to do cliffhangers. It's netflix, you're not waiting until next week to see the new episode.

I was not a fan of the long episodes when they were announced, but I thought they all flew by just because of how much stuff was going on and the way the story was being told. No lulls or downtime really.
Even the last episode which was like two and a half hours didn't seem that long at all.
We waited till all episodes were up and binged through the whole season in about 4 days or so.

lol, my wife won't watch it at night, so it's basically a weekend afternoon show for us.

I think it was...Arrested Development...where they actually did that. Released them really long originally but went back and chopped them into sitcom length later. It was mentioned in a Hats Off Entertainment video about a resurgence of short-form films.

While in London, we decided to check out the Ted Lasso filming locations, specifically the pub. Turned out they were shooting that day. It was raining when we got there so the set was shut down but once it stopped, the crew got to work and to our surprise nobody kicked us out. The rest of the public was held about 200 yards away while we were literally on set, pushed up against a wall to avoid being in the frame. We saw them shoot a really long one shot scene that I assume will be a closing shot for an episode in the upcoming season. Bear and Jason Sudeikis were there, along with the old woman barkeep and another character I won’t mention as it might be a spoiler.
