Not to mention that whole grand jury that declined to press charges is “questionable”.
I would liken it more to Trevor Bauer, where you now have public accusations where the athlete behaved in such a way where it’s impossible for the league to not take action

If all these accusation arose independently I would give them more weight. The fact they were all generated by a known sleazeball attorney still clouds it for me.
I work with an attorney that loves class actions and the bulk of the effort goes to building a large plaintiff pool. This looks very similar.
It leads to dumb dumbs that haven't seen a single piece of direct evidence declaring that he must have done something, then applying pressure to private employers to penalize the individual.

So you think Buzbee got 20+ women to lie and he went after Watson for….some reason?
Of course we’ll never know definitively but I think it’s more likely that Watson is a piece of **** rather than all these women are fabricating stories

Also, football players are famously pretty shitty people. They don’t get the benefit of the doubt

So as I said, suspend for conduct but you're not going to get more than half a season
NFL
Ben got 6 games (reduced to 4) for one incident.
Not trying to mitigate the awfulness of that (which I doubt was a one-off), but........... two dozen incidents across less than 2 years is a rather alarming different level. And CLE's shittbag collusion after the fact by giving DW a rigged contract is effectively consciousness of guilt imo; that's not a negotiating point CLE is interested in (they've given DW a 100% guaranteed contract, what do they care how his potential fines or loss of salary are calculated), so that came from DW resigning himself to the inevitability of a long sit.
Also, at the time Ben's suspension was announced Art II said "I agree and support the decision the commissioner made today." What are the odds CLE mgmt says something similar re DW?

That news is not nearly important enough to be preceded by an all caps "BREAKING"

It came out that Demaryius Thomas had stage 2 CTE. Very sad and honestly this is the first time where I realize that football won’t be the same thing in 10-20 years from now. Reading about the precedence of CTE in not just NFL players but also high school puts everything in a different light
