I have nothing invested in this, but that looks like bad indie video game character design.

The MCU is too big.

I dunno, it seems a little too goofy, but we'll see.

Yeah, that could be good. Glad to see Mark Ruffalo/Bruce Banner in it. I hope it's more than a cameo or two.
Tim Roth, too.

I miss when there were like 10 heroes and only half of them had super powers. I think I’m finally suffering from that superhero fatigue we were warned about years ago.

This is kinda where I'm at, too. Now everyone has powers, and it feels like some have just lost their uniqueness, etc.Source of the post I miss when there were like 10 heroes and only half of them had super powers.

That is definitely the problem after 20 some movies and making them all connect. That's why I think moon knight worked so well, but it appears that's also going to connect to black panther 2 and Thor. It's great when it works, but at some point you are cramming **** in for the sake of connection and that hurts the story and characters. This is kinda where I'm at, too. Daredevil remains my favorite MCU show and would rank very high up on a list that included the movies as well. Deserves a bigger place in the universe.

Dr. Strange was a really enjoyable time. Honestly probably my fave post-Endgame mcu film (edging out Shang-Chi, which gets a minor rock due to some pacing issues) Just a lot of fun.

Better than No Way Home?

My biggest issue with No Way Home is it's meh until the other Spideys show up. So sure, you've got an absolutely kick-ass of an absurd final third, but the first 2/3rds feel like you're stuck on the starting grid. Which is too much time in a 150 min movie.
I could watch the third act over and over again, but can't really muster a lot of excitement to do the whole thing from scratch multiple times.

Punisher is a half grade below DD, IMO. Barely.

Just started Moon Knight last night. Enjoying it so far.
But like others have said earlier, starting to get some fatigue. Same can be said for Star Wars a bit.
Like my grandma always said, "too much is no good".

Ms Marvel: I dug the first episode. It feels like it has a point of view and an actual storyteller behind it rather than a typical film/tv show from the Marvel factory. There's real heart there. It does feel a little YA but that's probably because it is and maybe a dude in his late 30s isn't the target audience. Regardless, even this old curmudgeon can recognize that it's very well done. I'm looking forward to watching the next one, unlike Moon Knight where I've watched one episode and I feel no rush to continue it. From the trailers, I expected it to be the opposite.

Some speculation that Ms. Marvel, America Chavez from Dr. Strange, and Kate Bishop could start a Young Avengers show/movie/arc. That might be cool.

Ms Marvel episode 2 is great again. I didn't expect it to be a small story about growing up in a Pakistani family but it's so charming and well done. I know nothing of this world and I'm just as (if not more) interested in what it means to be a modern Muslim coming of age in America as I am a magical bangle.
