Not recently but we got it right before Christmas. It was going around then, too.Has anyone had a stomach bug the past week in the pittsburgh area? My family including myself have been ravaged by it and I’ve had a bunch of friends with the same thing. Has to be norovirus I’m thinking

I was walking down a hill and slipped on some ice about three weeks ago. Didn't fall but did that quick-jerk move. Didn't know it at the time but I strained an oblique muscle. My golf habit simply has not allowed it to heal, super frustrating. It was only mildly annoying this week so I went to the range, I fatted a 2 iron and it felt like I was shot in the kidney.
I'm going to integrate some new stretches that target that muscle group, other than rest I'm not sure what else I can do.

have you been to a chiropractor? or are you anti-chiro?

Yeah, deep tissue massage and a chiro should help along with the stretches.

My wife had a chiropractor that did fantastic work for her after her car accident about 10 years ago. I have nothing against them.
But no, for now I'm just going to work it out. My wife works in Physical Therapy and gave me some specific routines to do. I'm confident it would go away with rest but that's not likely to happen in a meaningful way.
I think I'm most annoyed because despite my height, weight, and age I've never had a back problem in my life. Not during hockey as a teenager or adult, not as a marathon runner, or at all last year where I was cycling and golfing. But now because of one literal slip I've got this nagging injury.

right on time. (well, a smidge early)I'll be 40 this winter. Time to put me out on the ice floe.
crossing 40 was the biggest physical difference over a birthday milestone that I've felt. 30 and 50s, no discernible difference from previous years but 40, I just found that stuff that didn't used to hurt was hurting and I just didn't recover as quickly. I used to be able to play 3 hockey games in a day. after 40, 2 is still possible but 3 is a no-go. FWIW, I haven't felt a big physical difference in my 50s but thanks to the pandemic, I'm probably in better cardiovascular shape now than I was in my 40s.
I see a chiro and massage therapist once a month for maintenance but I still occasionally tweak my back doing things like putting my pants on or just standing up.

Well that's sobering.
I really need to lose weight, it would do my whole system some good. I could lose 60lbs and still be 20lbs over what I was in the military but my body would be much better off. I have a high level of fitness but dead weight is dead weight.

Anyone actually use a pooper hose? I want one, but all the add-on ones seem garbage quality.

a friend (no, really) just installed one on her toilet. her issue was that because it raises the seat a little that water was spraying through the gap. no idea if she fixed it or returned it.
