I understand meow's excitement for his fresh new balance air dad's, but agree with the others, I don't blame the driver. He's probably had bad experiences before. No one was wrong here.
Side note: I watched a UPS driver stand at the end of the driveway of my neighbor's for like ten minutes a month or so ago because the two Goldens (who are great dogs and wouldn't hurt a fly) were out. I realized then that they probably have ran into some sht before and just play it safe at all times

You know what's gonna happen, the driver doesn't. Unfortunately, the court finds in favor of the plaintiff. In a rare double whammy decision, we're favoring against mac's archrival as well.

When you wear your Xero shoes are you all like "I am Spartacus"?

One of my work trips got canceled. It was nice that it fell during spring break for my wife so she didn't have to worry about work and taking care of the kiddo while I'm gone, but now I won't be traveling and she'll still have spring break that we could go do something. We discussed going to visit her family/friends. Go to the zoo and/or aquarium. Depending on the weather, other things as well...
Question: Is it weird that we'd consider getting an airbnb near her parents place?
The two of us are very independent people that get stressed out if we don't have our own space (together). At her parents place, there is a small bedroom that is "our" space. The house itself is large, and everything else is good/nice, but we have to sleep in a 30 year old full bed that kills my back and my daughter has to sleep in the same room on a blow up mattress that takes up pretty much the rest of the available space.
It'd be perfect if they had just one more sleeping area where my daughter can sleep, but they don't. Thus: what if we get an airbnb nearby? Would it be weird? Think they'd get offended? I know none of you guys know them, but would your in-laws/parents get offended about such a thing?

I don't know. I think if you explained that it was cheap way to a vacation that wasn't really a vacation they might understand. If you plan on making it a usual thing that you never stay in their house, then you've got to explain that there isn't really enough room for you guys to enjoy your time there and Hoo Boy, have fun with that.

Pull her pop aside and explain that his daughter is loud and you don’t want to keep them awake. He’ll understand.

Thanks Gents... maybe we'll only do it when we plan extended stays. If we're just going for a weekend, then we'll stay at the in-laws.

We stay with the fam when we go to Vegas. But it's usually no more than 2 nights, so it's nbd.

I need clarification on this.
Five lane road, with the center lane being a turn/median lane.
I am in the right hand lane, and want to head into the left lane to get around a slower vehicle ahead of me.
I wait for a car in the left lane to pass, signal, look and begin to move over.
In the center lane, another car is trying to merge over and was also waiting for that same car to move along.
I move into the left lane, and the center lane guy does too. I notice him at the last second. We do not collide, but it is close.
He then proceeds to shake his head at me and mumble/rage at me for the entirety of the next 10 minutes down the road.
If we had collided, who would've been at fault? He didn't check his blindspot and probably didn't have a turn signal on - I didn't notice he was even moving until he was in the lane.

Him, I think. He was in a left turning lane coming back into traffic and pulling in front of you.

I think what he is doing would technically be illegal
