Favorite non-Penguin players (all-time and current)

if they played for the Penguins even for just one game, you can't put them in your list. Try to keep it to 5 or less, because anymore and then you're just listing off players who aren't Flyers (the more you list, the less weight "favorite" carries").

All-time: Bure (I used to model my play in every sport after him), Selanne, Roy, Theoren Fleury, Leetch

Current: Joe Thorton, St. Louis, Quick, Weber, Kopitar

Iginla was always my favorite non-Pens player, loved his style of play. I guess he doesn't count though since he spent those 2 months here.

I'll go with Joe Sakic and Patrick Roy. Loved those Avalanche teams back then, they have always been my 2nd favorite team. Would love to see them meet the Pens in the cup one year.

I loved Sergei Gonchar and it was awesome when he was here. I really wish Zach Parise would have signed here. There are a whole bunch of St. Louis Blues that I would love to see on this team, Ian Cole included. That was an extremely underrated trade due in part to the Despres, Lovejoy trumper. I would have loved to see Teemu Selanne finish here (no pun intended) ala Billy Guerin.

Also, Patrick Sharp of a few years ago. He's a guy who could have done a lot of good in a Pens uni. All time favorite outside of the guys who played for the Pens is hard because sooooooo many passed through here.
