Flyers give up two goals (one SH, one ES) both with the goalie pulled in the last minute...putting a second point at risk vs. Columbus. 2-2 with 9 seconds left...

That's good news...hopefully it gets to a shootout, Flyers have been terrible in those.

Looks like the Jackets dominated SOG throughout the entire game.

I can't believe that CBJ couldn't muster anything until the last minute of the game.

Damn. A heartbreaking loss for the Flyers (in regulation, of course) would've made my week.

Detroit is doing ZIP to help themselves out, so we'll just have to hope for the Jackets denying the Flyers a precious point.

Jackets held off the Flyers as long as they could, keeping the game at 1-0, until they gave up a PP goal to Ryan White (really) halfway through the 3rd.

Jackets are bizarre; they either score 0 or 6. I'll settle for them splitting the difference tonight and getting 3.

Where does this position them on suck-o-meter relative to Detroit?

CBJ has squandered their 5th PP of the night.

I actually expected Stolarz to start tonight.

Fine. Let Mason deal with 50+ shots. Maybe he'll get tired out before the season's up.

Aaaaand, there's a penalty to the Jackets. Surprise!

Wow, I can't believe they held on...Simmonds and Voracek with Bobrovsky on his face and they can't cash...shootout time, with the Jackets having a chance to steal a point from Philadelphia...

WOW, BOB!

Come on, CBJ, win it for your goalie!

Gagner's knee went right into BOB's head.

"Inept" doesn't begin to describe CBJ's shooters so far.

Despite running the goalie in the shootout, the Flyers still lose in hilarious fashion.

Boone Jenner gives Mason the ol' kickstart and Mase decides to just take off all of his clothes...

SH goal with a minute left, another extra skater goal where the Flyers were brutally out-numbered by their own net with 9 seconds left, fail to score on a PP in OT and then fail to score on five attempts in a shootout...

A valuable point, a "gimme" point...evaporates...

That'll keep them below Detroit despite the outcome for the Wings...

If only DET managed to remember they had a game tonight. But yeah, Flyers still (barely) on the outside.

Technically on points percentage...but as we see, game(s) at hand are only useful if you don't lose...this isn't the AHL, we're all gonna play 82...Philadelphia goes the distance tonight, Mason faces 60 shots including the shootout, and then they're going to Colorado where they don't allow oxygen, playing a team playing for their life, really fast, with a terrific goaltender...Philadelphia's other goalie has never faced an NHL shot I don't think...

There's no free ride. They had a lay-up against Columbus tonight and bricked out on it...eventually, when you chase something for long enough, you just run out of steam...let's see if that turns out to be the case down the stretch...
