While it sucks that Philly and Detroit won, their wins mean that no Canadian teams will make the playoffs for only the 2nd time since 1917-1918 (1969-1970 was the only other time).

I find that stat fairly impressive.

I'm doing everything I can to single-handedly will Detroit in and the Flyers out of the playoffs. It's not working, but there's still time.

It's going to come down to the Pens doing the hono(u)rs, isn't it? While that sounds enticing, I'd like to be able to watch those remaining two games without an increased risk of stroke. Call me a wuss, whatever.

Guy might break the record for wins in a season (with OT and SO I know I know), but that's pure fan stupidity, common among the ranks of one of the stupidest fan bases in this league.
