Not a bad start for the Leafs. They had the better period marginally. Weak goal by Bernier to start. Puts his team down early, first shot. That can't go in. Other than that, they were decent.

The tough part about losing Martin is we probably could have kept him if not for Scuderi contract.

Also, one game doesn't mean anything but I felt all summer long that Calgary was aiming to be this year's, last year's Colorado.
