So the accuser's lawyer is dropping her as a client due to ethical reasons. He said there may be a fabrication in the story of how they received evidence bag, but says that it is the actual bag. This just gets weirder and makes the accuser look really bad.

The attorney said the accuser had nothing to do with it. He also said believes her version of the events of the night of the alleged rape.

He said it was the mother he doesn't believe. He said she "misrepresented" how she obtained the empty evidence bag.

The mother basically threw her daughter under the bus with this stunt.

The mother really screwed the pooch here. Kane's attorney has more ammunition now if this goes to trial in terms of victimizing and set-ups.

Just read the prosecution's statements about the empty rape kit bag.

It wasn't a rape kit bag. It was a bag given to the mother to put in the shirt her daughter wore the night of the alleged attack. She and a cop went home, and got the shirt, but she put it in another bag.The original bag had the nurse's initials to show she was the one who did the rape kit test, and would turn the shirt over.

To me this raises another question. Why didn't the cop who was with the mother ask where the bag was? The mother probably lied to the nurse (could have said she forgot it), but the cop was with her. I know I'd have asked to see it.

Also, Kane's attorney said none of Patrick's DNA evidence was found on the accuser "from the waist down". Uh...so it was found above the waist, sunshine?

The fact that neither party's attorneys knew this isn't how rape kits are stored is kind of surprising.

If I ever meet a person with Kane as their last name is it fair to assume that I should hate them?

Do you guys think Evander is guilty, or just some chick trying to get $$$. I think Patrick was guilty, but that's only because I loathe him. (Not at all discrediting his talent)
