I had no idea Keith's cap hit is only 5 mill. That's gotta be the best contract in hockey, right?

Ref rant.
Nice club to the back of the head by Hedman at the end of the last commercial.

Why was that called, but the one trip on the Blackhawk 5-10 minutes ago not called? So stupid. EXACT same style of trip.
Chicago rant.
If the Hawks win the cup, this is what the Pens should've been. Their premier young player is a forward the Pens should've drafted. Kudos to the Hawk organization. Kudos to Quenneville for coaching them for that long, and getting the team to buy in the system that long, and using the players in a way that brings the best out. Also, incredible job by Bowman to surround Toews & Kane with incredible players.

I hope the cup doesn't show up, just for a logistically embarrassing moment for the league. How it wouldn't be there in the AM is amazing.

Did Stamkos only get one point this series (a secondary assist, no less)?

Easy choice at this point for DK getting the Conn Smythe. Terrific Final. Great action throughout, close games.

Seriously though, how did Keith manage to be so criminally underpaid?

In the last eight games of the postseason, Stamkos had one secondary assist.

Chicago is so good. I am jealous of their front office. Everyone assumed they'd be done after the first cup and they turned those traded pieces into more gold. It's going to happen again. Man...good for them.

Yeah I remember a couple years ago people were talking about Chicago's salary cap hell. Their front office are wizards, and good for Quenneville

Well, they will really be tested now. Toews and Kane jump to $10.5 mil per next season.

Of course, staying healthy makes all this a little easier, too.

All of this true. As is this:

happy for Kimmo. Always enjoy it when people leave Philly and win a cup.
