The Lightning are going to need to be content to take a few shots from distance on the power play. Chicago won't let it through the box right now. Let Nesterov and Garrison just start cranking them. Keep the killers honest then slap pass through the box another time. But they are passing up some tries because they are unnatural looks for them.

Can't beat either of these respective Finals series right now. Great two weeks of sports with good theater every night.

The Lightning play ridiculous hockey. I'm rarely mystified by things that happen on the ice, but they use such under used angles and geometry in their game, it's something...hard to believe they haven't earned about eight or nine power plays already.

Did Stamkos just miss an open net?

The entire side of the net was open. Can't believe Stamkos missed everything, regardless of a deflection

Definitely. At least 3-1. I'll give them the game where Tampa played turtle for a period in game 1. But this is globetrotter hockey and their best player in the playoffs is clearly hurt in Tyler Johnson...and they don't have their starting goalie...how the Blackhawks escaped Anaheim remains a mystery, but yet they're in this series...for some reason...somehow...move over 2006 Carolina Hurricanes, we got another group that just dry heaves four leaf clovers...

I picked the Hawks in six, just because of the reasons Mikey stated above. It just seems like the Hawks are "charmed", for lack of a better term. And also, not to keep tooting my own horn, but if the Hawks win, I will have officially picked all 15 playoff series correctly.
