Is Despres playing well for the ducks? #FireRutherford

Rutherford clearly didn't get enough for Despres. That's very clear right now. The only solace I take is A) he fleeced the Blues by getting Cole for just Bortuzzo and B) Harrington, Dumoulin, Maatta and Pouliot are all still on the team.

Despres had his chance to break into the top 4 and didn't rise to the occasion. He was a very good #5 but so was Chorney. It's great seeing him do well in Anaheim but it's not like Despres was our missing piece and cost us a playoff run now or in the future.
