I knew sending you to the selection show while I was on vacation was the right move.

Ok, please be mindful that I can't check for every single error or glaring omission...I tried, our division GMs (who did a phenomenal job with this) tried, meow...just kinda stood there and watched...so if there's a mistake, if there's a UFA kept by mistake, if someone left Sidney Crosby unprotected, let's make a note of it and fix it in the most fair way we can...like meow said, more of an exercise than a competition...all of your teams are going to suck, let's see who sucks least...I believe that's how you get on the Dean's List at Arizona State...

One thing I'm not sure how to account for is these real-life Euro signings...we'll play it by ear...maybe a right to first refusal type deal, who knows...will cross that bridge when we, uh, whatever you do at a bridge...

Again, there can be twists to this of course...realistic trades to keep someone from being selected in this draft (see the previous Nabokov example), who knows, maybe an agent will come along and inform you that a player will not report to Quebec or Las Vegas or what have you...maybe, maybe not...

Anyway...it is a positional snake draft as you can see in the draft thread...Seattle, you're up when you're ready...we'll see if a draft clock is needed...maybe PM who is next or notify them with the notifier in this thing here...picks over there, discussion in here, please.

Lets take it a step further... no more than 1 Goalie, 2 D, or 3 Forwards

Like for example ottawa shouldnt lose both anderson and hammond

Can't lose a third player I think, but that was with two expansion teams. And I don't think you could lose 2 goalies or 2 d-men.

I think ideally it would be 1/1/2, but with 104 picks thats just not really possible. 1/2/3 should be good.

It's tough. It really is, ten-fold because of the lack of capgeek...I said it before, and I'll say it again here, the divisional GMs did a bang up job on these...that is not an easy task...
