Wings were in OT when the Flyers pulled their goalie. The Flyers were already eliminated from the playoffs. All pulling their goalie did was ensure Pens and Detroit couldn’t make it (if they would’ve won).

Wings goal shouldn't have happened because that was definitely not icing. Oh well. Flyers lost anyway

This is what made me mad.

I'm sure Torts was already gonna pull the goalie no matter what, so I doubt he was looking at the scoreboard. Nuts to Torts, though.

Ehh... when the wings tied it, I flipped over to the other game immediately and the ENG had already happened. We're talking 30 seconds tops

Watching that game was like attending a funeral. I still can't believe Glendale was going to throw out Doan's retirement banner. Was never a big Doan fan, but I was glad to see the banner made it back to him.

A not-so-fun fact that I found on twitter last night: Matt McConnell called the final game for the Yotes last night. He also called the final game for the Thrashers before their relocation.

He also did play by play on the radio side for the Penguins when they declared bankruptcy in late 1998.
