Decidedly so...and $5 mil for a known playoff flake doesn't do much for the whole "we don't get out of the first round, ignoring the obvious goaltending flaws" thing either...

FWIW McCann is shooting nearly 2.5 (28.2 vs 11.9) times his career shooting percentage.

He's on a heater but he's likely going to come back down to earth at some point.

His Assists YoY is wild, went from 27 to 8 so far this year.

i'm thinking they're no better than a wild card at best and i don't see them beating carolina/leafs/jersey/bolts in the first round as the 7 seed. boston's one small weakness -it seems to me- is they're the slower than all the aforementioned

Very entertaining game. Paul for a 4th and Joseph was robbery. Hagel cost two firsts and two former prospects but he's still only 24

Yeah, that's a good point too. He just overall isn't very good. Fine as the host of NHL2Night where he could set someone else up to talk or do highlights...but like an energy player, he's fine at 12 or 13 minutes against weaker players but is horrible at 25 minutes playing against the best...

Bucci was one of the biggest voices for hockey (at all levels) over at ESPN during the dark days when the main broadcast holder in the US was OLN or whatever.

That being said, he doesn't get a pass for being a bad play by play guy.
