Edit: he's actually only dash 1 somehow, and only 5 of his 16 points have been on the PP. Meaning he's only been on the ice for 12 ESGA in 23 games. That's about 12 less than I expected

Groins are fickle injuries. Could take two days to feel better. Could take :checks calendar: 13 years.

One of my players told me he got hit in the knee with a shot...? 10 grand of equipment on and gets hit in the knee...? Hmmm...

I’ve had tens of thousands of shots fired at me and I remember a few that caught me in a soft spot. One hit me in the throat and I thought I was going to die. That pain was nothing to the one shot I took to the knee. It was a redirect that I had my five hole open stretching for and the tip brought it back toward me. Slipped in there somehow. I instantly thought I was going to throw up. It also bruised from my mid-thigh to a few inches above my ankle. Like 12 inches of bruising.

What was supposed to be covering that spot that failed...?

It was the first year that they outlawed thigh boards. Maybe 2008? I didn’t like the full blown knee pads that replaced them, so I wore these half assed knee pads. I switched to full blown knee pads after that.

NHL seemingly cracking down on "dangerous trips" recently, yet PK Subban has had at least 5 instances of this within the past month and has yet to receive any supplemental discipline.

Player safety is a **** joke.

It's just amazing how that play has become so natural for him. Someone needs to jump him.
