I said to a couple friends during Game 1 that it’s like the Canes watched zero tape of the series vs the Pens in order to see how to dent Igor. They have done nothing at the offensive in 3 games that gives me any hope once the inevitable Raanta collapse happens.

Everything about Florida has been pretty bad, I'm glad they were good enough to beat a feckless Caps team...but man alive...I know bad performances only happen to us, but all of this went really rotten in Florida. Where have Barkov and Huberdeau been? Outside of Forsling and I guess Gudas, who has been good on the blueline for them?

You have copycat Carter Sturtevant and Claude Giroux doing work and not hell of a lot else...what a disappointment from the prez trophy winners...

I’ve said before that I think Barkov is an overrated player and I sort of got slaughtered for it.

He has all the tools but he’s just never had that “it” factor for me. He’s sort of faceless player. And this playoff performance is backing that theory
