Then make any goal coming off of a skate illegal. Take the subjectivity out of it. I don't want to ever debate if a goal was a "distinct kicking motion" ever again.

That goal is fine IMO. If you're that far outside the crease there's no danger.
Obviously you can't let guys kick while the goalie is around, but that kind of goal right there doesn't bother me.

I'm good with the goal as well. The "kicking" motion is him getting his skate back on a straight path and putting his foot in position for a redirection not him trying to boot the puck.
Kicking the puck should only be called when you're trying to kick it straight on with front of the skate. If you are putting out the blade to play angles, the goal should count.
