He was the best goalie of a generation, but played on a bad team. 4x top-5 Vezina, won a Hart Trophy as a goalie (rare). Having a Smythe worthy run right now.

i didnt used to think sid was somewhat disrespected but am starting to come around on that now

2nd in games played by 1 game (Lundqvist)
3rd in wins (Fleury and Rinne)
9th in sv% (min 100 games played)
10th GAA (min 100 games played)

I only looked at min 100 games because to go up to 200 leaves off everyone’s favorite Tim Thomas (felt like he had to be included due to being a cup winning goalie) if you make it min 200 games he’s goes up a bit.

Montreal has to do a better job of getting pucks to the net. As we well know, when facing a great goaltender, teams have a tendency to make the perfect play rather than the dirty play. Tampa got 2 dirty ones and carried the play throughout.
