He's a good coach too...but I'm not sure I'd characterize it as "such a better option"...but the results were there...until they weren't...

Firing your coach midseason is the key to success.

Dallas has a very strong roster...they play terrific team defense...they're getting lights out goaltending from a battler in Khudobin...they've really adapted well to different styles...they out-grinded Vegas, they out-scored Colorado, they have enough versatility to do whatever...Benn is playing really good hockey right now...the only thing you can really say is that they're kind of doing this without Tyler Seguin too...

Heiskanen is already a top-5 d-man in the NHL I think...

that poor kid. I know he was just crushed and Don Cherry was railing about the Delay of Game penalty this morning but the penalty was designed for this. Whitecloud could've made a play to skate the puck free but instead took a chop and got a bad bounce. sucks but that's they way it is.

I think he was so focused on the icing, that he probably lost the puck...it's ok to lose the offside if you have to pick one because you can check on that one and it matters less...
