that was some of the worst last minute D I've seen. Isles try to run out the clock, cough up the puck then panic once Tampa cranks up the offense.

Sometimes you hear people talk about a goalie that battles or a goalie that's a "fighter"...in this context, and because there's a good foundation of skills, it's a real positive...he's out there always punching up and he's getting it done...

Yinz know me. I like me some fundamentally sound and technically proficient tendies. This bus driver looking mother **** is the furthest thing that in the league. But for some reason, I’m all in on watching him do well. He’s catching lightning in a bottle right now. It is fun to watch.

Also fun fact, I believe he was the main piece in the first trade I ever broke back in my media pursuit days...it was Khudobin from Minnesota to Boston for like Mikko Lehtonen and some scrub, like Matt Marquardt or some such...

The hilarious part was when I turned about 13 and they were juniors and seniors in high school. We would go to drop in and stick times together. I would go like 90 minutes without letting in a goal. They used to get so mad. Hilarious.
