WTF....I was looking forward to turning the game on in the second period. Never mind.
I was in a bar and lost track of time. The game came out of break and it was a center ice faceoff. Sweet, it's just starting! Oh, it's the second period...oh, it's 4-0. Thanks for nothing, Blues.

He has to talk up the league but in many ways the game was much better in his era.

That was, what, 2:45 of a shift for Clifton? Schenn started that mess for him, they cycled through lines, and he came out again with Clifton still out...that's like having all nine batters come up in an inning...

It sucks to see any player bust their ass for 9 months to make it to the final and get a season ending injury. Unless that player is named Marchand. Or Wilson.

Are they finished yet? Sure feels like the playoffs started about half a year ago. You know, they should have two-week breaks between each round to maintain enthusiasm.

I looked for hockey last night. Was discouraged to find only basketball. Read a book instead.

I have a feeling, if NHL.com is any indication, that NBC will now be giving Chara the MSL Mom treatment. Excited to hear endless anecdotes about the Bruins rallying without their fallen hero.
