What the heck. Flyers 8 in a row and only 5 points out of a playoff spot. Wasn't long ago they were dead last.

If you refer to Nylander, I thought he played on the 3d line (at least occasionally). But it will be mess with Kapanen, Matthews and Marner getting raises this summer...

I would have given Nylander the finger / traded him for his contract situation and that is partly why I never should have people responsibilities

The Boston press packet said it was just 12...I gave it about five seconds of thought and came up with this potential memory (or lie): coming out of the big sleep, the schedule matrix saw teams play like 8 intradivisional games, I don't think there was a home and home for every interconference matchup.

i.e. (made up example illustrating my point...which, again, could be a lie) in 2006 Pittsburgh would play Edmonton once...in Pittsburgh. 2007 they would play Edmonton once...in Edmonton.

I'm assuming that's how we lose a handful of games...

I hate the Flyers just as much as anybody here, but, I have got to give them some credit tonight. After playing a tough games last night against us, they went to Minnesota tonight and came back from a 3-1 deficit and won 5-4. They just might make a run. Sure hope not but they are playing quite well. I hate even typing that but have to give credit where credit is due. 10-1-1 in last 12.
