Man, St. Louis delivered one hell of a body blow last night. Blowing a two goal third period lead at home in Game 5 of a tied series. No bueno.

Biggest play of that game might have been when Hayes slipped it past Binnington and as it was dribbling toward the line, he tried to finish it, fanned on it, and then knocked it away from the line. It would have been 3-0 and likely curtains for the Blues.

In gambling news, I lose on the Jets and stared at the 3rd period over and passed and Blues at 8-1 to win beginning the 3rd and passed. Scared money don’t make money.

Yeah, that Hayes play was tough to watch on the replay...that had enough momentum to get there if left unmolested...obviously you want to try to jam that **** in, but bad result...
