Penn state beat Notre Dame 9-1 tonight...
They had been 0-5-1 against them since ND joined the B1G. Not sure where in the hell that came from.

The 9-1 W helped this stat, but PSU leads the nation in avg goals for a game by over 1 goal (!!).

PSU - 5.29
MInn St - 4.19
SCS - 4.12

Don't know anything about Cawledge Hawkey.. saw a highlight of a Minnesota game, geez do they have a big rink. Bigger than international ice after further research. No regulations in NCAA?

No regulations. Lots of western teams have huge ice. Hell, Notre Dame used to have the team benches on opposite sides of the ice.

Love it, Friars are 14 seed but play regional at home (well downtown anyway).

Last time this happened iirc they won the whole damn thing.

Friars come from 3-0 down to win 6-3! Kasper with the Game Tying goal in the 2nd.

Minnesota State player the announcers had been hyping all game took a dumbass hit to the head penalty that was called on review, not on the ice. 5 and a game, Friars score twice on the major.

On to Northeastern or Cornell.
