I think to provide entertainment. They fired their head coach Dave Lewis in the middle of the tournament! (After the team started with 3 straight losses.)

Pastrnak flew overnight from US to Denmark. Could not sleep for even one minute. Plays a few hours after landing. Then he does THIS!
BTW, Pastrnak was 2+1. Krejci (same story with travel and not sleeping) was 1+3

So it's QF of an international hockey tournament - which means USA will face the Czech Republic! (NINE times over the last 20 years - 1998OG, 2004WC, 2005WC, 2011WC ,2014OG ,2014WC ,2016WC ,2018OG, 2018WC)

Hornqvist just couldn't go a year without winning something...good for him. Great effort by the Swiss...made me a lot of money in the process too, as this was the most talented Swiss team I have seen assembled and that's without Nico Hischier...
