I am in full-blown panic mode. Caps in 6 over Vegas. Holtby has found another gear this postseason and he is completely dialed in. Washington feels like a team of destiny. Ovechkin will finally rewrite the narrative. Tom Wilson will be lauded as someone that played through the adversity of league sanctions to be a pivotal part of the Capitals first Cup team. Fleury will regress to 2010 Fleury before our eyes.

I think I'm ok with this. I'm of the opinion that the Caps would have won the cup the last two years if they had got past the Penguins. I think the Caps squeak this one out and then transition to irrelevance over the next couple of years.

I don't know what to feel. I think the Knights win, but I think the Caps have so much confidence and everything going right for them it seems like this is their year.

That being said, it would be delicious if MAF let the entire world down one more time. But I think MAF wills the entire team to win so we can have more summertime hindsight 20/20 talk.

I'd much rather hear yinzers griping about not keeping Fleury over Murray than complaining about Ovi winning.

Just imagine how many times you are going to hear "Keeping Murray was a mistake" and "We could have won the Cup if we had kept Fleury" over and over again.
