So pushing a guy onto your own goalie is goalie interference but kicking the opposing goalie when he makes a save isn't.

No way. That guy is paralyzed after that - dude left his feet, hit him square in the back, right between the numbers. Text book 40 game suspension there. Should be a criminal charge or at least a civil suit for sure.
