If the NHL is smart, and I know that's pushing it, they play Game 7 of the Leafs-Bruins series on Wednesday night and follow that up with Game 1 of Vegas-LA. Then they come back on Thursday with Game 1 of Pens-Caps and Preds-Jets. That way, they only have one night (tomorrow) without hockey. But given that they're not very bright, they'll probably wait to start all series on Friday/Saturday.

Pens/Caps can't start on Friday...Bullets/Raptors game 6.

Thursday is not ideal for me, so selfishly (but hopelessly) hoping for Saturday afternoon...

"The Capitals will move on and do what they do just about every spring. Lose to the Penguins in the second round."

1991, 1992, 2009, 2016, 2017: Penguins meet, beat Capitals in playoffs. Win the Cup.
2008: Penguins do not meet Caps in playoffs. Lose in SCF.

Conclusion: No Cups without Caps.

Caps are faster this time around...but if Holtby sucks like he did this season, we're in good shape...I don't bet on that being the case, as he's one of the league's best...but if he could just crap himself in this series, that should be enough for us to get by them...

I can try. GDTs just bring out the pure jack-hole in me so it is usually just better for everyone if I do my best to stay away. Plus, I might be at games, listening to people red-rocket themselves.

... but we all do know exactly where the one-trick-pony will be on the pp. Just slide a defender off to the right a little bit... rocket science

(Yes, it is a very good trick, but he is a one-trick-pony)

If you remove Wilson and Oshie, the caps are a pretty likable team.
