Great example of why I’ve never liked the way Rinne plays the position. He plays his hands from the outside in - meaning that his hands and elbows are away from his body in his default stance. He can’t fully control shots like this because they almost bounce off his body after they make contract with his hands. He’s not great at swallowing up shots taken from his hips to his nipples because of this. If his elbows are tight and his hands are closer to his body, he can come out to those shots and control rebounds deeper in the corners.

It’s fine. I’d rather see Winnipeg give these guys wedgies for 7 games than an Avs upset.

A Jets-Pens final would be the ideal scenario. Much like the Sharks and the Preds, the Jets would get all the hype, setting them up nicely for heartbreak. Pens in 6.
