Think they have a hierarchy? Like, which one gets the Pens sweater and which is stuck with the Caps jersey?
It bothers me that they don’t have the correct Caps jersey. Jagr never worn the blue eagle.

I'm guessing he's going to retire/leave Calgary now rather than wait until the end of the season. This way he plays in one final Olympics.

After today's Kings@Flames game, Jagr will lose his last (assuming that he indeed will 99.9% retire by the end of this season) chance to be the all-time NHL leader in games played.

He has officially been 'assigned' to the team he owns in Kladno. Looks like it's over.

It was a real privilege to see him play in person. His arrival coincided with the start of my interest in hockey, so this will be the first experience I will have of the sport without this guy as part of the furniture.

The day Jagr (probably) saved the Penguins

http://nhl.nbcsports.com/2018/01/30/the ... -penguins/

“I remember that like it happened yesterday,” Jagr said. “I pulled my groin in the first game. We were losing 3-2 in the series and if we would lose the first round I think the team would move to Kansas City because they had no money. We had to make the second round to get the (money) for the payments.

Jagr continued: “I came back and I tied it with a minute-and-a-half to go and then I scored in overtime. That was probably my best game ever, I would say. My most important for sure. I’ll probably never score a goal that important.

“Probably if I hadn’t scored that goal the team wouldn’t be in Pittsburgh right now. (Sidney) Crosby would be in Kansas City.”

Nedved still playing? Didn't he retire 200 years ago?

I didn't think that a team that you were being loaned to could loan you to another team.
The living hockey legend Jaromir Jagr may appear for the first time in his life in the Czech Republic in a non-Kladno jersey. And if that happens, it will be in the colors of the Ocelari! The best hockey player in our history confirmed this with his approval of alternating starts in the Silesian club by the end of the season

Jaromir Jagr achieved everything in hockey. He won the Stanley Cup twice, triumphed at the Nagano Olympics, twice won the World Cup. Now the most productive European in NHL history returns to the Czech ice rink. Jágr's footsteps go to maternity Kladno, however, a member of the Czech Hockey Hall of Fame can return among elite Czech mantinels already this season. If that happens, it will be in the jersey of the Trinec Ocelari, Jagr himself confirmed

"The first priority for me in the Czech Republic has always been Kladno and I want to prepare for the play off WSM leagues and I would like to help the club to return to the extraliga with the owners of Třinec have long-term relationships. business contacts, and we can say that we are friends in the past years. In Třinec I have been running alternate starts till the end of the season, which in practice means that if Kladno did not work out as we all wish, I can purely help the Oilers in the game off to fight for the title But this is really only conditional by being healthy, running and playing hockey at the highest level.

He is back! For the first time since 2013 (NHL lockout), Jaromir Jagr is playing in the Czech Extraleague. At the age of 47, JJ is starting the 32nd year of his professional career. Unfortunately, his team (Kladno Knights) is considered by far the weakest link in the Extraleague, and is the most likely candidate for relegation...

Looks like Jagr's helmet fines will be based on CZK 1,000 * 2^x formula!

The WHA was a glorified minor league. Should not be considered based on the criteria.

Also, Tony Hand would certainly top that list, right?

That might have been one the most "mikey" posts I have ever seen  To be fair, he didn't play with the dinosaurs, but it is still a quite unknown player? Or perhaps I am just ignorant ;)

Haha unknown to most. But should be known by those compiling such a list.

Hand wasn't an unknown...invited to Flames camp in 1985, Oilers camp in '86 (Oilers pick). Played briefly in the Dub I believe...then was offered a contract by Edmonton's farm team a year or so later...

So, very much on the radar...Sather said he was the second smartest player behind 99.
