I was at the game. There were a lot of Pens fans there. The response when he took the ice for warm ups was AMAZING. Any time he was on the Jumbotron, the crowd went nuts.

During the anthem, there was a camera shot of him. He looked like he was going to cry. I guess he was a. Feeling odd facing his old team and b. overcome by the response of the Pens fans.

During the post game interview it was pointed out all the Pens fans cheering for him, and he smiled and acknowledged it. He was going to say something else, but the annoying as hell announcer (he handled the interview, not the ATTSports Vegas crew) cut him off.

There were a lot of Pens fans there.

Vintage Lundqvist performance tonight, he was stellar. But was nearly the second best Swedish goalie on the rink, as Rakell made a diving, mid-air play with his stick to negate a Michael Grabner opportunity...wiped out on the ice, but on review, it crossed by a puck width...but it was such a great play that it shouldn't have counted on posterity alone...

Am I the only one who thinks PK might very well be a massive asshat and all that charity stuff and what-not is his publicist's idea?

I think he's probably a decent guy, with kind of humble beginnings who does want to give back...but on the rink, he's an asshat, cocky, ultra-competitive...
