Arizona beats Craps in OT courtesy of Keller and Domi.

Insane crowd in Dallas as Stars beat shitville in OT. IMO there goes an underrated team -Dallas
Also, one gleans the equivalent in pleasure from listening to Razor call Seguin's SO winner as watching the shot itself.

It’s 1:18 and the Winter Classic hasn’t started yet. College football is well underway.

Last post about the Classic since I’m the only one who seems the care: the shadows are making it really difficult to see the play. I’m assuming the cameras have to exposure for the sunny areas of the ice, making the shadowed areas way too dark.

I turned it on midway thru the 1st period and that was the first thing I noticed. So the people who decided that Citi Field was a good idea obviously didn't take the shadow factor into play. Those shadows make it a very difficult watch (and you're right about the cameras...the shaders in the truck are probably working double OT on this telecast) but the continued insistence on using that stupid, nauseating cablecam for live action is the reason why I'm not staying on the game all that much.

29 shots on goal combined in the first period, though? :o

Had no idea the Winter Classic was today. NHL really drove the outdoor game thing into the ground.

It ended up being an entertaining game. If I’m Buffalo, I’m pretty pissed that the league is considering that a “home game.”

Rangers have some thing that they can't have a home game outside of MSG contractually IIRC...

If I'm buffalo, the only thing I look forward to is a good draft pick. This is a helpful arrangement.

Fleury has his second shut out in 3 games, blanking Nashville last night.

Sidenote: Whenever a Vegas goalie gets a shut out, people can redeem their tickets for a free dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

I said they'd lose 55 or 60 games...so the fact that it's January and they're still working every one, I guess anything is possible...

That's a spicy meatball. I typically think that you need game breakers to win the whole shabang. They don't really have that. They have 20+ guys all pulling on the same rope in the same direction.

But what do I know
