bergeron actually seems to be a defensive game changer. this seems like just something people like to say about toews with not much to back it up. i mean...he's swell and all, but i've never seen anyone get so pissed off at how frustrating he is on D that they lose their mind.

They worked the cap and won two cups...sort of still playing with house money.

My question is if these superstar gratitude contracts are going to be reconsidered in the future.

Brian Elliott had successful core muscle surgery this morning, per general manager Ron Hextall. Elliott will be out 5-6 weeks.

Well, that's not good news for the Flyers.

Of course it is. Those two teams are thorns in our sides.

The Flyers 2a goes down, so I guess they turn to 2b and one of the kids...? I know I saw Lyon play already this year...

Neuvirth's first goal against tonight against Taylor Hall (as there were more) is a wannabe Patrick Kane SCF game 6 goal...

You did see Lyon this year, because I did. Can't remember what game though.

Stolarz has been hurt.

Lyon played against New Jersey I think...and filled in for another...I might have that backwards. He's not bad...kinda lazy hands, but tight technique...

Wow. I just checked the score and am watching Scheifele's leveler and the OT now. Holyyyyy, shorthanded?! LOL.

The roof blew off the place like it was the playoffs--although it usually does all season.

Myers' OT goal was a bullet!
