Brian Gibbons had 2 points last night...

Granted, they were against the Sabres.

As per their Twitter account (sorry, I'd post the link but I can't access Twitter at work), the Golden Knights will forego advertising on their boards tonight for their home opener. Instead, the boards will read #VegasStrong.

The night will be dedicated to the first responders, victims and survivors. They will hold the planned home opener celebration on Friday instead.

This is sad and bittersweet but I'm very much looking forward to this game.
C'mon Knights!

That was great. The Requiem for a Dream music is an interesting choice but other than that that was well done.

Holy **** they have a drum line. I love expansion teams.

I know it's Vegas but that PA announcer will have laryngitis by home game #3 if he keeps up all that yelling.

That's another reason why I love expansion teams: the over the top PA announcers. I also love that he separates the assist announcements as "first assist by..." "second assist by..." Over the top, overexplaining expansion announcers are the best.

I hope they show more of that drum line.

Neal is on fire.
Ex-Pens are leading the Golden Knights to victory early on - Neal with 5 goals through 3 games, and Fleury with a 3-0-0 record and .963 SV%.

The opening ceremony in Vegas was perfect. So powerful. Engo's speech was touching.

And as for the team: They've been really fun to watch. And I'm loving the Fleury is doing so well. Although the first Coyote goal was such a Fleury goal. LOL.

Vegas lost for the first time last night. Up 3-2 heading into the third and gave up four unanswered goals.
