It's funny because there are guys who actually do walk that line. Theyre mostly big guys. Tom Wilson for one. Lots of his hits look like they should be illegal but then you look closer and get pissed that they're clean.

Marchand, however, has no concept of the line. He's either a skilled, benign little manlet, or he's blatantly cheap shotting. Very binary.

There was a kid name of Kevin White who played baseball at Presbyterian about 15 yrs ago. White was 6' tall and didn't weigh a 130 lbs. Could shower in the drain pipe etc. Watched him play in a collegiate wooden bat league and he hit (I'm pretty sure) 20 hr's in 40 games - many of them of remarkable distance. According to the experts he was able to generate a swing speed that one of those experts called 'extraordinary'. What this story has to do with Eichel is nearly a non sequitur in that Eichel is a solidly built athlete and I'm unable to articulate what I'm getting at (which probably means it's not worth getting at)...so I'll just stop here
