That man’s confidence is as high as..well...something that is certainly high. Me at my second Cypress Hill concert?

That goal has been done a few times, but the way he worked over Jones with it...I’ve never seen it so perfect. Plus it was the game winner. To clinch the division. In the final home game. Against the team chasing them. On the night they honored the shooting victims.

Hockey is just ok.

Goal was not too shabby ;)

Which 40 goal season was more improbable: Staal or Karlsson?

Staal may have done it before, but thinking back to the way he looked in that Rangers series in 16... he looked done. And Karlsson's career high was 9. Had only 15 goals the previous 2 years despite playing 162 games.

Bonkers.

Lol that was exciting as hell

On the downside I want the flyers to finish third

On the upside that place just got a collective sad that gave me a hockey boner

Take away last second comebacks and the flyers have like 2 wins. There’s a good chance they actually stink. Let’s play em.

The exact quote was something like...he didn’t mean to “hurt” him. Because smashing someone’s face into the glass is often a safety measure.

How would he know that he would break the guys nose and give him a concussion? He bites people's fingers for crying out loud.

Marchand got a $5k fine for that cross check to Andy Macdonald's face.

I feel like if they wanted to actually deter him, they would've suspended him, regardless of the outcome of the act.

Why in the holy hell are they still giving him fines. I mean...I know why. But he deserves the Torres treatment. Full stop.

I don’t have a huge issue with the Hartnell hit.

The Hartnell hit, to me, looks like he couldn't have anticipated the guy was going to turn his back like that instead of just absorbing the hit with his shoulder like everyone else does in that situation. In a very Letang like way, the player gave up his vulnerable side assuming Hartnell would know to ease up, and then the player got pasted.

He turned his back twice. He either wanted to change the look of his nose or had no clue who he was on the ice with.

Yeah, ideally Hartnell doesn't finish that hit so high...but otherwise, Antipin shoulder checks, identifies the threat and tries to get hurt...succeeds.

Using a stick to the face of a prone player like that is worth more than a couple of bucks to me...I don't have a lot of patience for plays like that...

Yup...I don't put as much blame on Hartnell as others. Antipin was asking for it.
