Boy, I'll tell ya...Nikita Zaitsev has been a completely different player in the young year so far. I saw a good deal of upside last year, that skating base is terrific, but for whatever reason, it just wasn't working...he looked like he was on a leash...he was like a dash 40...this year, he has spread his wings offensively and has looked terrific. I really thought it would be Morgan Rielly that would take the big step and he might, he's just a toddler, but Zaitsev has been terrific early on...definitely a player to watch...

They should have about a thousand goals tonight. It's a little bit of that terrible goalie Forsberg and a little bit of just shanktitude...honestly, there's been enough A chances to reasonably say they should have 4 or 5 goals on merit...

that game against chicago was the last straw. i'm calling it quits with the pens and switching to some sort of toronto/edmonton hybrid fan
