Oh man. Should face a week in the stockades and then a public execution. That **** was terrible.

JFC, that was bad. I don't think he has a record, so it'll probably be 3 games. But wow.

Boy, I gotta say, I'd like that to be in the 6ish area...not a fan of using the stick as a weapon to the head or neck area with that kind of intent...instant remorse might shave a game off, but I'd really like this to be in the 5 to 8 game region...

I voted No Games, Just a Fine. Dude plays for the wild, nobody saw it.

*edit*

Didn't realize there was already an in-person hearing scheduled. Probably going to be a non-zero value, heh.

Normally, I would agree with that. But that was televised across North America and was the lone game in its time slot...NBC took it coast to coast in the US (to my knowledge) and Sportsnet had it in Canada with a simsub version I believe...so it really picked as big of an audience as it probably could have haha...

Yeah, it was on at my in-laws place. I didn't see the play live, though.

Sprugeon got dummied by Brendan Smith later in the contest a little bit too...tough break for the little guy...big fan of both players, but Nyquist can't do that...I have much less tolerance for stick to the head stuff than I do probably anything else...

really DoPS???? You accept his explanation that he was trying to get his stick around Spurgeon and wasn’t trying to spear him in the face? Are you watching Nyquist’s eyes at all?????
discipline in the NHL is a joke.
